Marilyn Brown concentrates her work on the areas she knows and love so well…Florida and our national parks. She works in black and white photography and for many years worked only with a 4x5 field camera.

The Everglades, the coastal shorelines, sunsets, clouds skies, the bays and ocean all have personalities unique to Florida. Our national parks are graced with magnificent vistas, vast canyons, towering forests, waterfalls and deserts…all made accessible to photographers, Marilyn is constantly trying to capture these images so that others can enjoy the beauty she sees there.

If you find an emotional element in her photographs, then she has succeeded in drawing you into the picture and making you a part of it. Her hope is that by making others fall in love with Florida’s natural beauty and the beauty of our national parks, we will continue to cherish and protect these perishable, yet irreplaceable lands.
